Neil joined our team as a harvest intern in 2011. His skill and reliability earned him a quick promotion to Cellar Master and now Associate Winemaker. Neil graduated from UC Davis in 2006 with a B.S. in Viticulture & Enology. His first harvest was in the cellar at Ramey and from there he went on to become Assistant Winemaker at Dutton Estate from 2007-2009. Possessing a desire for some international experience, he ventured to Mendoza, Argentina where he worked for two harvests. During this time, he helped a friend launch the label Cepas Elegidas. When Neil isn’t busy with wine, you’ll find him at the skate park (former sponsored skateboarder to boot).
