Tasting Notes

A proprietary blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah. The 2013 Writer’s Block is amazingly aromatic with ripe blackberry, black raspberry, dark cherry, crushed rocks and dusty creme de cassis. Notes of dried wild flowers, espresso, and baking spices add further dimension to the aromatic expression. On the palate, this wine is rich and expansive with the Syrah shining through showing its varietal savory, mouthwatering spice. The Cabernet Sauvignon gives classic flavors of black plum and mouth filling dark fruits to this delicious wine.
