Tasting Notes

The 2012 Kamen Cabernet Franc is produced from 100% Cabernet Franc grown entirely on Kamen’s Moon Mountain District Estate. This is without a doubt a stellar example of Cabernet Franc from California! The aromatic landscape is at once vivid, voluminous and decadent with blueberries, boysenberries, strawberries and cream, crushed granite, dried black cherries and fresh cut wildflowers. Subtle notes of mace, raw silk and marshmallows add further dimension. The wine has huge viscosity, but a at the same time an incredible purity with delicate spice notes and intense blue and black fruit flavors. An ambrosial wine. The 2012 Kamen Cabernet Franc will drink deliciously for 20 years.
